Titanic Challenge

Third through fifth grade students had to use amazing team work and communication skills to have success in this activity. Students were put into groups of about 8 people and had to travel across the "ocean" using just three hula hoops (lifeboats). Students did were excellent at developing affective strategies and working well with their teammates. Some classes did so well that I had to take away one of their "lifeboats" to make it more challenging!
